We have just seen how ISKCON's leaders everywhere are being forced to respond to the challenge of the IRM (and making fools of themselves in the process!). Further clear evidence of this comes from the official report of the Brazil GBC meetings. At this meeting it was decided that a special senior group consisting of the country's gurus and GBCs will be responsible for advising a committee set up to handle the country's administrative work. And the very first request for help made by the committee to the senior group?:

"our first request was for a strategy to deal with the growing IRM presence in Brazil."
