ISKCON Leaders Preach "Fallible Guru" Hoax

Back To Prabhupada, Issue 3, Spring 2004

A hoax by definition has no substance, built as it is on a foundation of lies and fabrication. The great Guru hoax is revealed whenever ISKCON leaders try to explain how their Gurus, who are meant to be current links in an infallible chain of liberated spiritual masters, can frequently fall back into illicit behaviour. Since Srila Prabhupada makes it clear that such bona fide Gurus in the disciplic succession never deviate, the perpetuators of the hoax have had to invent their own philosophy to convince their followers that they can.
