Yet another academic publication has highlighted the sterling work of the IRM and BTP in fighting the guru hoax. "The Hare Krishna Movement - the Institutionalisation of alternative religion", has been authored by Martin Farek, who is the chairman of the Department for the Study of Religions at Pardubice University in the Czech Republic. It mentions how the IRM has taken the lead in presenting an alternative to the current guru system within ISKCON, and also notes that the influence of its preaching is growing throughout ISKCON.
