n the last issue, we profiled the campaign to stop the IRM's preaching ("The Concerted Effort to Stop the IRM"). The campaign's financing and running is overseen by GBC-elected guru HH Sivarama Swami ("SRS"), with one of his disciples, Radha Damodara Dasa ("RAD"), leading the campaign. It was mentioned that it was the widespread distribution and success of the IRM's book 100 Deviations: The Life and Teachings of HH Sivarama Swami that had precipitated this campaign.
This book has also been available on major ebook retailers, and can be accessed via this link. It is available in Hungarian, too. And to date there have been over 500 downloads. SRS's team has discovered the existence of retailers stocking this book, and as part of their campaign to stop the IRM, RAD, under his legal name Ravi Talsania, has now submitted the following fake review to Amazon.co.uk about the book:
"This book has nothing to do with Sivarama Swami — a terrible book full of lies. Don't waste your time or money on this rubbish. It has nothing to do with Sivarama Swami and is clearly written by a person with insincere motives and quite possibly mental health issues."
We can simply note the following facts:
1) The book contains 135 quotes from SRS, which constitute the vast bulk of the book.
2) Thus, the claim that the book is "written" by someone with "quite possibly mental health issues" would apply to SRS since it is his words that have "written" this book.
3) To therefore claim that the book is "full of lies" would mean that it is SRS who is being called a liar, since the book is actually "full of" his words.
And these horrible insults to SRS have been made by SRS's own disciple!
